Keyword density is the percentage of times a word or phrase appears in your text relative to the total word count. For SEO, it remains a useful diagnostic: too low means you might not signal the topic clearly enough to Google, too high (above 3–4%) trips keyword-stuffing detectors and reads unnaturally to humans. This Keyword Density Analyzer takes plain text or pasted HTML, strips tags if you ask, tokenizes properly for English, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese (where each CJK character is its own token), filters out language-specific stopwords ("the", "và", "の", "的"), and reports the top 25 single words, two-word phrases (bigrams), and three-word phrases (trigrams) ranked by frequency along with their density percentage. Densities above 4% are highlighted so you can spot accidental over-optimization. The tool runs entirely in your browser — no text is sent to any server, making it safe for unpublished drafts, internal docs, or confidential content briefs.
density(term) = count(term) / total_words. For unigrams, total_words is the total word count; for bigrams it is (total_words − 1); for trigrams (total_words − 2). Stopwords are excluded from unigrams entirely and from any n-gram composed entirely of stopwords. Reading time uses 225 words per minute, the median adult reading speed for prose.
