Vietnamese Input Converter turns text typed in Telex, VNI, or VIQR — three popular Romanized input methods used when no Vietnamese keyboard is available — into properly accented Unicode Vietnamese. Telex uses ASCII letters (aa for â, f for grave tone, x for tilde, etc.), VNI maps digits to diacritics (6 for circumflex, 2 for grave, 9 for đ), and VIQR uses ASCII punctuation marks. This tool processes input word-by-word, applies the correct Vietnamese tone-placement rules for diphthongs like "ao" → "ào" and modified vowels like ê/ơ/ô, and outputs ready-to-paste Unicode text. Everything runs in your browser — no text is sent to a server.
Vowel modifiers: aa=â ee=ê oo=ô aw=ă ow=ơ uw=ư dd=đ Tone marks (last vowel of word): s=á (acute) f=à (grave) r=ả (hook) x=ã (tilde) j=ạ (dot) z=remove tone
