PDF is the universal format for documents that need to look the same everywhere: court filings, contracts, archived emails, log dumps for compliance, books for reading offline. The TXT to PDF tool takes any plain text — pasted into the form or uploaded as a .txt file — and renders it to a downloadable PDF using jspdf running entirely in your browser. You control paper size (A4, Letter, Legal), orientation (portrait or landscape), font family (Helvetica sans-serif, Times serif, Courier monospace), font size (7–18 pt), margins (5–40 mm), line spacing (1.0–2.2×), and whether to print page numbers at the bottom. PDF metadata (title and author) is also configurable. The renderer handles long paragraphs by wrapping them within the page width and paginates automatically when content overflows. Use it to archive Stack Overflow answers, save chat logs, send a code snippet as a printable handout, or convert a Project Gutenberg .txt into something an e-reader handles more gracefully.
A4: 210 × 297 mm (international ISO standard, used everywhere outside North America). Letter: 215.9 × 279.4 mm / 8.5 × 11 in (US and Canada default). Legal: 215.9 × 355.6 mm / 8.5 × 14 in (US legal documents only). 11 pt font with 1.4× spacing fits roughly 50 lines per A4 portrait page at 20 mm margins. Courier monospace fits fewer characters per line than Helvetica/Times because its letters are wider.
